Why Akure Tech Hub?
With full government and academia research backing, our startups have access to unlimited resources as well as most importantly a leapfrog opportunity to pilot their innovations within the immediate community, giving immediate access to over 50,000 tech savvy users
Our sole reason of existence is to provide a space that gives more than enough room for social innovation to thrive, equally providing all the necessary human, technical and capital resources as well as a greatly conducive environment for testing, nesting innovations.
We are a melting pot for community stakeholders, researchers, innovators, educators and technology enthusiasts to meet,collaborate and share practicable ideas aiding innovation to solve local problems,in turn creating social enterprises.
Incubation and Research
We exist to help drive the identification and development of social entrepreneurs with globally relevant ideas as well as connecting them with the necessary research and business acceleration resources to help ensure survival of established enterprises.
Akure Tech Hub was founded by a unique collaboration between the Ondo State Government, the Federal University of Technology, Akure and Akure TechUp.
Founded to create a framework for the planning, research, development and regulation of Information Technology practices, activities and systems in Ondo State
Founded in 1981 by the government of Nigeria to create universities that specialise in producing graduates with practical and theoretical knowledge of technologies
